Turned out to be a disaster for me. Hit a rock, sliced open my tire (small hole but enough) put in a new tube which promptly went through the hole and exploded. Borrowed a dollar from John and put it over the hole. Morals - carry two air cylinders, two tubes and at least one dollar bill for tire (not tube) patching. Contemplating leaving it that way to see how long it lasts.
